Home and Property Resolutions, LLC is dedicated to resolving problems with your existing home by:

  • Repairing damage from storms, accidents or aging;

  • Basement finishing and/or basement waterproofing;

  • Improving problem areas like bathrooms and kitchens, or changing the use of an area from a bedroom to an office;

  • Finishing spaces that were left unfinished, such as basements, garages or storage areas;

  • Dressing the home up a little, like adding or changing trim molding, crown molding, counter tops, stair rails, hardwood floors, ceramic tile, new hardware for doors or cabinets;

  • Changing the outside with a new deck, siding, soffits or energy efficient windows;

  • Providing help for the do-it-yourselfer who got in over their heads on a project and need help getting the job done;

  • Providing assistance with fixing remodeling projects that a house inspector found to be done incorrectly or illegally, so that you can close a sale;

  • Providing project management assistance, to act as your representative for major remodeling or construction additions where you cannot be on-site at all times, in order to make sure everything is done correctly, to resolve issues quickly and to keep the project running on time and on budget;

  • Crime scene clean-up and restoration.

As the owner of Home and Property Resolutions, LLC,

I know that most home improvement projects are for resolving a problem or meeting a need, but often become a bigger problem than what they were intended to solve. Many times in the interest of saving money and time, the process that protects the customer is what is cut out by not using licensed, insured contractors and not getting the proper permits and inspections. No one is perfect, and that is the reason for the inspections and building codes, which are there to protect you, the home owner, and insures the safety of your home.

Home and Property Resolutions, LLC is a licensed and insured Class B Contractor, with a builder's designation in the State of Virginia, which allows us to construct homes up to two-story duplexes. We do not build homes at this time. We are dedicated to projects that enhance or repair existing homes, up to total renovations ["Rehab"] of rental or investment properties within their existing foot print.

As a building contractor, we are not licensed as a plumber or an electrician; therefore, we are unable to perform renovations that require relocating existing, or installing new, plumbing or electrical wiring. However, we can subcontract a company for that work, or work with a contractor you choose to do that work. Again in Virginia, plumbing and electrical work requires a licensed contractor in those fields to get the permits, do the job and schedule inspections for that work.
